In the late 1970s, George Lack was searching for a high quality and long lasting beach chair and umbrella for his beach concessions. Located along the South Carolina coast in Myrtle Beach he wanted a product that would withstand the elements (sun, salt and sand and everyday use). Not finding anything available he decided to construct his own beach furniture using the best materials available, hence Lack’s Outdoor Furniture was born.
We are interested in one thing at Lack’s Outdoor Furniture. Producing the best possible beach furniture the world has to offer. Just when we think we’ve arrived, we start over and improve what we’ve almost perfected. Little changes, small adjustments’a touch more of this or a drop less of that’is what keeps us going. That willingness to never give up, to never be satisfied, to go for that next peak, is what we are all about.
