In the late 1970’s, George Lack was searching for a high quality and long lasting beach chair and umbrella for his beach concessions. Located along the South Carolina coast in Myrtle Beach he wanted a product that would withstand the elements (sun, salt and sand and everyday use). Not finding anything available he decided to construct his own beach furniture using the best materials available, hence Lack’s Outdoor Furniture was born.
